Are you involved in the implementation of social and/or developmental projects?
Do you need data to establish the success rate of your project/intervention?
Do you want to establish the effects of your project/intervention on the target group?
Do you lack authoritative data that can show the progress of your intervention and the effect it has on the target society?
Research Solutions Ltd offers two complementary quantitative surveys that can measure the scope and success of your social and development projects. A baseline survey, followed by monitoring and evaluation surveys will provide you with the information you require to design and strengthen your intervention and increase its effectiveness to the target society.
A baseline study allows you to establish the starting point from which to measure progress. Baseline data is collected only once and forms the basis for comparison with successive data in order to establish which areas of the project/intervention are successful and which areas need improvement. A baseline survey can therefore provide the following information:
Awareness
Usage
Attitudes
Acceptability
In a world where you need to prove the success of your intervention, it is imperative that you measure change that is brought about by the intervention. Once the intervention has been launched, monitoring and evaluation research should be conducted on a regular basis to establish the success or otherwise of the project. The monitoring and evaluation tool has to measure the same issues as the baseline data in order to measure change. Thus monitoring and evaluation allows you to establish:
Changes in awareness
Changes in usage
Changes in attitudes and acceptance
