The Field team is based in and conducts Field Work in Turkana
The Right Candidate MUST:
Be able to work in Turkana and fluent in the Turkana language (Nga'Turkana).
Have research survey or data collection experience as an interviewer or team leader.
Be computer literate with a Diploma in computer studies: Proficiency in Word, Excel, etc.
Have the ability to work long hours and extensively travel within the Larger Turkana region where you will be in the field for several weeks.
Have good communication skills and be a team player
Be Honest and able to work with minimum supervision.

Research Solutions is a market research company operating in over 20 African countries. These are managed through regional hubs though much of the design and analysis work is currently conducted in our head office, located in Nairobi, Kenya.
The company has a decentralized structure and therefore is recruiting a Research Manager to take charge of our hub office in Tanzania. Together with the Research Director, the candidate will be expected to establish, develop and manage the company's presence in Tanzania and surrounding countries.
The incumbent's specific roles and responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining contacts with research buyers meeting agreed annual targets
Project design, implementation and reporting of projects
Effective management of research projects ensuring that these are carried out effectively, efficiently and with the highest quality standards
Supervision and development of research staff.
Qualifications, experience and competencies:
Strategic thinker oriented to results
Natural leader
Between 3 and 8 years of relevant experience in market research
Academic background in social sciences, marketing, statistics or economics
Excellent technical research skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in English.
